چکیده:
Dr. Seyyed Mohammad Tijani Samavi Tunisian was born in the city of Kairouan in Tunisia in the year 1315 SH. He grew up in a prominent and religious family, devoted himself to religious knowledge, and since he possessed great passion and talent, he eventually reached the rank of teaching and propagating through his classes and discussions. During many travels to Islamic countries, he met a person named 'Monem' who was an Iraqi university professor, and this served as a prelude to him finally being guided to the straight path. During these travels—to cities in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, etc.—he became acquainted with the Ja'fari school of thought and became averse to Wahhabism. His effective meetings with great Shia Maraji' such as Ayatollah Khoei and Seyyed Mohammad Baqir al-Sadr are considered a turning point in his insight. Finally, he returned to his country and through research, debate, and ultimate investigation, became a Twelver Shiite and a capable preacher; of course, on this path, he also faced issues and difficulties. Six books by Tijani written on the subject of the differences between the Sunni and Shia schools of thought are very famous, which, God willing, will be addressed in the next issue.
خلاصه ماشینی:
In this regard, curiosity about the Shiite school of thought holds a special position, such that truth-seekers like Dr. Sayyid Muhammad al-Tijani al-Samawi, through research, investigation, and using reason, the Book, and the Sunnah as a scale, have reached the conclusion that the only group that is on the truth and saved is the Twelver Shiite.
In these meetings, both Marjas speak with the Doctor regarding their own schools of thought and his, and since the Doctor encounters very pleasant and good behavior, he asks his mental questions and doubts in the presence of these great scholars; about the oneness of God, about Amir al-Mu'minin (ع), about weeping and wailing for Husayn ibn Ali (ع), the methods of Sufis, and so on...
The Doctor cannot believe that Umar rose in opposition and accused the Holy Messenger (ص) of raving, but to his great surprise, he finds it in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, which are accepted books of the Sunnis, and during his research, he makes a pact with himself to accept the hadiths agreed upon by both Shiites and Sunnis and to begin his research based on this foundation.
Yes, the Doctor understood all of this, and read the issues of Fadak and the suffering of Fatima (س) at the hands of the Caliphs — especially Abu Bakr and Umar —, the testimony of the two Sheikhs (Abu Bakr and Umar) in their own ignorance and the knowledge of Ali (ع), the hadiths of the Prophet's (ص) love for his daughter Fatima (س), the manner and cause of her martyrdom, the concealment of the grave of the beloved daughter of the Messenger of Allah (ص), and hundreds or even thousands of narrations, verses, and inferences, all of them from the Quran and their own sources, and these were only the beginning of his transformation.
