According to one of these interpretations that Fakhr al-Razi cites in explaining the word al-Muzzammil: The Prophet was covered in a woolen cloak belonging to his wife Khadija and was busy seeking comfort with her when the first verses of Surah al-Muzzammil were revealed; it is as if he was told: Abandon carnal matters and occupy yourself with the worship of your Lord. 39 The most astonishing interpretation of the words al-Muzzammil/al-Muddaththir, which falls into the third category — namely "blameful" explanations — is found in the book al-Ta'rif 'an al-Asma' al-Mubhamah fi al-Qur'an,40 by al-Suhayli.
