INTRODUCTION The aim of this study was to examine relationship between conflict management and organizational effectiveness of youth and sport office directors of Golestan Province. com Descriptive statistics (mean, tables) was reported and statistical analysis was performed by Pearson correlation coefficient and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test RESULTS Findings showed that there was significant relationship between conflict management as well as problem-solving and non-opposing strategies and effectiveness of youth and sport office directors, but there was not significant relationship between control strategy and effectiveness of youth and sport office directors of Golestan province. INTRODUCTION

The aim of this study was to examine relationship between conflict management and organizational effectiveness of youth and sport office directors‌ of‌ Golestan Province.

METHOD

This research was a descriptive and correlation method that carried outas a survey research. Survey research used to examine, explore, describe and explain the features of a statistical population (3). Research‌ population‌ was directors and presidents of sport commissions of headquarters and undertakers of sport councils. In this descriptive study statistical society consisted of managers of General Administration of Sports and‌ Youth‌ and heads of sports councils of Golestan province (N=71). Due to the limited number of study population, the subjects of the study were considered equal to the number of‌ society‌. Data‌ was collected in a field method‌ and‌ by‌ three questionnaire include managers personality traits, standard Robins’s conflict management questionnaire (r= 0/83) and Hamidi’s organizational effectiveness(r= 0/88).
