INTRODUCTION The aim of this study was to examine relationship between conflict management and organizational effectiveness of youth and sport office directors of Golestan Province. com Descriptive statistics (mean, tables) was reported and statistical analysis was performed by Pearson correlation coefficient and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test RESULTS Findings showed that there was significant relationship between conflict management as well as problem-solving and non-opposing strategies and effectiveness of youth and sport office directors, but there was not significant relationship between control strategy and effectiveness of youth and sport office directors of Golestan province. CONCLUSIONS‌

Based‌ on‌ this result, choosing controlling strategy can’t enhance the effectiveness of Golestan youth and sport‌ office‌ directors‌. According to obtained results for enhancing organizational effectiveness, youth and sport office directors can‌ lead‌ to solution-oriented and avoidance strategy by designing an educational program in order‌ to‌ employ‌ management skills within physical educations managers.
