چکیده:
ادبیات فارسی اولیه که به هندوستان آمد متاثر از عرفان و تصوف بود و مایه های عرفان و تصوف داشت. یکی از آثار مهم آن زمان فواید الفواد است که شامل گفتمانهای صوفی بزرگ شیخ نظام الدین اولیاست. این نوشته که پیام آور انسانیت و عشق و احسان است نه تنها مورد تحسین و ستایش سلاطین دهلی بلکه مورد ستایش ملتهای مسلمان و غیر مسلمان هم قرار گرفته است. این اثر، بطور غیر مستقیم، از طریق حکایت و تمثیل هم با جهان اسلام و هم با جهان هندوها ارتباط برقرار می کند. تحقیق حاضر بر عناصر تصوف و عرفان هندو-ایرانی تاکید دارد و با توجهی خاص به بررسی ترجمه انگلیسی فواید الفواد نظام الدین اولیا می پردازد. این پژوهش خواهد کوشید تا نگاهی داشته باشد بر داستانگویی، استفاده از مدیم (عامل) شعر و غیره آنگونه که این عوامل در ترجمه های انگلیسی اینگونه متون از جمله فواید الفواد بکار گرفته شده اند. بیشترین توجه به ماهیت و کارکرد این عوامل در این گونه آثار است. در تاکید بر شعر ، این بررسی، می کوشد ساختارهای ادبی بکار رفته در آثار را، با نگاهی به برخی از مشکلاتی که در ترجمه ها پیش می آیند، نیز به کاوش بنشیند. تلاش اصلی پژوهش در جهت بررسی میزان تاثیر متقابل سنن، آداب و رسوم هندی و ایرانی بر یکدیگر است که منجر به خلق قالبهای پرشوری در هند شد که نسلها را تحت تاثیر قرار داد و هنوز هم این تاثیر پابرجاست.

Since the Fawa’id al-Fu’ad is a construct in language that becomes necessary to look at the linguistics of the discourse in order understand and appreciate fully the perspectives of this remarkable text.
The title Fawa’id al-Fu’ad (Morals for the Heart) tells us that the overall discourse is used is in the context of ‘morals’ and these are contextualized in a world of beliefs and faith, i.
However, the invariant factors that provide structure to this discourse are narration, the functional levels of the narrator and the narratee, the major significations created along with some peculiar uses of language.
Sijzi through his faithful recording provides us a rare glimpse into the working mind of the sufi saint Nizam-ud-din Awliya.
