Abstract:
Review and Analysis of the Social Thought of Mohammad Reza Hakimi. Abstract. Mohammad Reza Hakimi, one of the thinkers of the school of separation, has published his economic, social, and political views in numerous works based on verses and narrations. In this article, we have collected information using library and documentary studies. Theoretically, considering the necessity felt among Muslims in the 20th century AD for the establishment of an Islamic government, and given that the production of Islamic humanities and social sciences is essential for the formation of a government, this research was organized. After a brief discussion of his theoretical foundations, we will address his thoughts in three areas: economic, social, and political. He has a complete understanding of the rules and laws of individual Islam, and the ideal society he envisions is one where everyone knows and performs their duty, or is compelled to implement it through enjoining good and forbidding evil, as well as establishing an Islamic government under the supervision of the infallible or a divine scholar. In the final conclusion, it can be said that his individualistic outlook leads to a neglect of attention to the influence and characteristics of social systems and, consequently, Islamic social rulings. Keywords: Hakimi, Islam, School of Separation, Justice, Poverty, Society
Machine summary:
He considers the social and supreme goal of Islam and all divine religions to be the establishment of a religious government (Hakimi & Colleagues, 1387: Vol. 1: 679) and believes that an Islamic government is one whose overall movement is in the direction of the welfare and reform of society and its individuals (Hakimi, 1391: 21) and brings society beyond poverty, humiliation, oppression, and domination (Ibid: 54).
In Islamic government, the ruler has duties; these duties include: electing employees and assistants from the most knowledgeable and pious individuals, overseeing administrative affairs, paying attention to judicial matters, preparing a strong and faithful army, fulfilling promises, respecting humans, supporting the principle of equality and fairness, being among the people and living among them, removing the needs of society, being open to criticism, fighting poverty, supporting and advocating for the deprived and downtrodden, fighting ignorance and illiteracy in society, strengthening social bonds, and fighting corruption (Ibid.
A Critique of the Views of Mohammad Reza Hakimi Although Hakimi, as one of the thinkers of the School of Separation, believes in society building based on the Quran and the practice of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and considers society building to be the most important constructive movement of humanity throughout history, he considers society to be a collection of individuals and does not recognize an independent existence for it from its members.
