Abstract:
Malahem and Fitan is a source along with the narratives in the book of Assemblies، in which there are a series of narratives about the events of the apocalypse، which appears to indicate that the Imam of the time has certain purposes and aims and his aims are forwarded with sword and the killing will wide ensue. Of these traditions have been different perceptions; Some apparently believe in the tradition and appealed to widespread killings by Imam; And others rejected this view and consider the implications of these traditions are unfinished.
In this article، through content analysis، to review these kinds of Islamic traditions and an understanding of the narrative is tried to be achieved through jurisprudential-scientific criteria. Firstly، there is no proper documentation and issuance of these types of traditions and secondly، the appearance of these traditions from different directions with its reason is in conflict. So، even on the assumption of accepting the narrative، its appearance cannot be bound.

Mahdist Government: The Result of Mass Slaughter or the Preparation of Grounds and the Emergence of Truth (An Analytical Study of Narrations Claiming Mass Slaughter) Seyed Ali Hasani 1 Abstract In the books of Malahim, Fitan, and Hadith collections, there exists a set of narrations regarding end-times events that apparently indicate that Imam Zaman( may advance his goals and objectives with the sword and engage in mass slaughter.
The grounds for the formation of this image of the Promised One are rooted in various issues; for instance, it is possible that the image presented by Christians or Jews regarding the promised one of their own religion has led Muslims to believe that the promised one of Islam will be the same; however, the main root of such beliefs must be sought in the narrations that exist in the books of Malahim and Fitan or in the Shiite and Sunni hadith collections.
Considering that, on one hand, Zaydi and Waqifi narrators are quite numerous in the chains of the collection of narrations under discussion; and on the other hand, during the era of these two great Imams and also after them, Shiite groups such as Zaydiyyah and Waqifiyyah were present in the Islamic society and did not agree with the approach and strategy of these Imams in dealing with issues, there is a possibility that some of these individuals have described characteristics for "Mahdi al-Ummah" in a way that is consistent with their own principles regarding Imamate, rather than with the approach and strategy of the Imams after Imam Hussain( .
