Abstract:
The subject of this article is to explain the status of the rule of Nafi al-Sabil (Negation of Domination), independence, unity, and coexistence of Islamic countries in the Statement of the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution. It seeks to determine whether this Statement, as another unique initiative by His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (may his glory and permanence endure), has accepted an expiration date for religious slogans or not. What is the status of the rule of Nafi al-Sabil in this Statement– the rule which is one of the established principles and rules of jurisprudence and guarantees decisive slogans such as independence, unity, and coexistence of Islamic countries. A precise examination and comprehensive view of the Statement of the Second Phase are considered for answering the question of this article. The findings of this article indicate that, given the strong emphasis on independence, the negation of domination, and the unity of Muslims in this Statement, the subject of the article holds a very important and decisive status in the Statement of the Second Phase. Elucidating this matter, while demonstrating the scientific breadth, jurisprudential power, and precision of the author of the Statement regarding fundamental jurisprudential rules and a precise understanding of authentic Islamic policy, can bring about a spirit of convergence, unity, growth, flourishing, and independence for Islamic societies and countries. It can pave the way for the realization and establishment of an ideal society (Medina al-Fadila) and self-sufficiency vis-à-vis the enemies of religion, and also raise a more aware and stronger future generation of Muslims.
