Abstract:
With a descriptive-analysis method، the present research explores into the most eminent reasons، aspects، and outcomes of the manifestation of the Qur’ānic verses in Ḥaḍrat Zaynab’s (S.A.) Sermons in Shām and Kūfa and provides the following results: 1. Using a common ground for guidance، giving an ultimatum، and refuting the Ummayid rule’s propaganda about Imam al-Ḥusayn (A.S.) as the Khārijite were the most outstanding of the manifestation of the Qur’ān in the sermons of her holiness. 2. Among the aspects of the Qur’ān’s manifestation in the Kūfa and Shām sermons we can point out the reproaching of perfidy، the role of actions in determining man’s destiny، similarity between the Kūfīs and the Jews، reminding the sunna of dictation and respite (imlā’ wa imhāl) to Yazīd، and reference to the principle of free will and task-orientedness. 3. The most outstanding outcomes of this manifestation are the exposure of the hypocritical face of Yazīd and his cronies، reminding the competence of the household of the Prophet (S.A.W.) for guardianship، rulership، and correction of the people’s worldview
Machine summary:
1_ Reasons for the manifestation of Quranic teachings in the Lady's sermons In response to the question of what factors caused Lady Zaynab (SA) to use Quranic verses and content in a wide range of her statements, in the author's view, the following two reasons are worthy of consideration: 1_ 1_ Using a common point for guidance and to complete the argument On one hand, after the passing of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), some of his companions, while setting aside the prophetic teachings regarding the succession of Imam Ali (AS) _ especially in the famous event of Ghadir Khumm (Amini, 1397: 73_147) _ changed the path of guidance for Muslims in the event of Saqifah Bani Sa'idah (see: Yaqubi, n.
The noble verse actually represents a return to the past of the people of Kufa and the obvious contradiction present therein, where they, by sending successive letters, declared their support for establishing the government of truth while pledging allegiance to Imam Hussain (AS), but on the other hand, during the battlefield, due to the intimidation and bribery carried out by the Caliphate apparatus, they ignored their covenant and preferred betrayal over sacrificing life, wealth, and Jihad in the way of God. 2_ 1_ 2_ The role of deeds in determining human destiny In the following sections, after mentioning the moral vices of the people of Kufa, Her Excellency emphasizes their bad destiny in this world and the hereafter, which will be determined as a result of their evil deeds; this is actually a reference to the sending forth of deeds and their role in human destiny, as emphasized in several Quranic verses (for example, see: Hashr/18; Jumu'ah/7; Naba'/40).
