Abstract:
In the culture of social sciences, foresight (looking toward a not-so-distant future in order to attempt to predict it) is a regular intellectual activity that is more an art and a method. Concepts of creativity, new thought, pioneering, and vision are closely related to futurology. This artistic and somewhat scientific field has attracted the attention of social and political thinkers for about forty years. Creative researchers are considered pioneers of the future vision; because creative individuals are always thinking about moving beyond the status quo and seeking an optimal and desirable situation. Therefore, Basij future studies must be able to use innovators and inventors to outline the theoretical foundations of new Basij thought in Iran for the needs of the individual (at least for the next two decades). This task is possible through two ways: 1- Explaining the strategy of fundamental research and its special work in Basij; 2- Giving importance to future studies research. Basij future studies, in the direction of shaping 'Tomorrow's Basij' based on the future-making perspective of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader, takes essential steps so that cultural Basij and scientific Basij can find their true position.

Although futurology and future-making methods acquired a scientific identity many years ago and are not out of reach, according to our current assets, there is no possibility of accurate prediction regarding revolutionary transformation, even based on research in the field of quantitative evolutionary trends, for any sociology.
