Abstract:
Objective: The fundamental question is what permissible joy and vitality are from the perspective of the Holy Quran and traditions, and how can one live happily by relying on these two magnificent and great sources? Method: The method of work is analytical, descriptive, and refers to verses and traditions related to joy and vitality. Findings: In the hadiths, having a cheerful countenance and a smile on the lips, using pleasant scents, loyalty, observing the rights of people, relieving the troubles of others, visiting one another, etc., are considered causes of joy and expansion of the human heart. Conclusion: The result is that to achieve joy and ultimately true peace, one must connect to the greatest source of peace, 'God'. Therefore, through: prayer, supplication, Salah, trusting Him, thanking Him, serving His creation, repentance, etc., one can feel dignity, pleasure, joy, and peace. Traveling, exercising, hosting feasts, bathing, etc., also cause joy and vitality.
