The Importance and Necessity of Delivering the Message The Holy Quran considers the delivery of divine messages, which are rooted in human reason and nature, a duty for the men of God, and in praise of it, says: (الَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَالاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُ وَلا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلا اللَّهَ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ حَسِيبًا(; (Ahzab/39); [Divine prophets, who are the true reformers and well-wishers of humanity] are those who convey the divine messages to the people and fear none but Allah (fear of Allah is due to the concern of falling short in delivering the message), and Allah is sufficient as an Accountant.
The inclination toward God as the Absolute Perfection and the Being whom all need while He is Self-Sufficient, the belief in eternal life, and the inclination toward justice, freedom, beauty, science, knowledge, and truth, as well as the hatred of oppression, tyranny, discrimination, and dozens of other issues in the realm of thought and action, stem from these innate commonalities of all humans, regardless of religion, color, race, or nationality.
