In this writing, we have attempted to present the stages of man's journey towards perfection from the perspective of the Commander of the Faithful (as) in Nahj al-Balagha, which in various sermons has expressed the attributes and perfections of pious and perfect humans, by answering these questions: what attributes and characteristics does the Commander of the Faithful mention for reaching human perfection in the Sermon of the Muttaqin?
In fact, perfection is an attribute that a person acquires through certain stages; Allameh Tabataba'i writes about this: Without a doubt, man, like other beings, has perfection, and human perfection consists of reaching the stage of activity from the stage of potentiality and talent in both knowledge and action; meaning, he believes in true beliefs and performs righteous deeds, which his nature, if it has remained sound, will recognize.
