Practical methods and styles in Taqiyya and its executive forms differ regarding leaders and Shiites. With this approach to the issue, we arrive at the fact that the durability of religions and divine schools among societies also requires factors of permanence, and in this regard, the school of Imamate in Islam is not exempt from this rule.
To explain, Taqiyya (dissimulation) is originally a dispensatory ruling regarding dealing with disbelievers with whom a Muslim person is somehow associated and is forced to adopt a Taqiyya-based approach in their conduct; also, secondly, it relates to those religious opponents who, in terms of political and social restrictions, hold a position similar to the companions of the Infallible Imams (peace be upon them).
The Taqiyyah-based behavior of the Imams (peace be upon them), by resorting to tested and effective methods, and the adherence of their companions and followers to it, has caused them to remain safe from the fatal damages of enemies, and through this, the Shiite school has become permanent in Islamic societies.
