Abstract:
In today's world, educational technology and technology are recognized as key tools in the process of upbringing and learning for vocational school students. The use of modern technologies, such as interactive software, multimedia equipment, and online platforms, has made it possible to improve the quality of education and increase student interaction with content. These developments play an important role in stimulating motivation, developing practical skills, and the professional training of students. The method of data collection was library-based; first, by searching databases, internet sites, and information and citation banks such as the Iran Research Institute for Information Science and Technology, SID, Magiran, and using the keywords of the present research, which include: technology, technology, upbringing, learning, students, and vocational school, resources were selected from various sources based on the subject and research conducted. The method of analyzing and reviewing information is also descriptive-analytical. Results show that educational technology in the field of teaching and upbringing students, especially for the specific conditions of the secondary period, has many facilities, advantages, and opportunities. The use of educational technology in the secondary period can help in achieving desirable academic progress for students, realizing relative educational justice, growing and nurturing the desired basic skills of secondary period students in current conditions, and ultimately in educating and training citizens who are desired by the 21st-century global society. Additionally, results showed that educational technology not only helps teachers diversify and make their teaching methods more effective but also drives students toward active learning and self-management. Consequently, the intelligent use of technology, teaching digital skills, and entrepreneurship has made vocational school curricula more global and efficient. However, challenges such as the need for appropriate infrastructure, teacher training, and preventing excessive dependence on technology must also be considered. Overall, educational technology provides new opportunities for training capable, creative, and job-market-ready students and plays an important role in the development of vocational school educational systems.
