Abstract:
The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating solutions for improving teaching quality and aligning it with the goals of the secondary education stage. Teaching methods play a decisive role in the educational process as one of the most important factors affecting the quality of student learning. Although passive teaching approaches are effective in the rapid transfer of information, they often lead to superficial learning. In contrast, modern and active teaching methods, which emphasize active student participation and the development of metacognitive skills, have gained attention due to creating deep and sustainable learning. The type of research is applied, and its method of investigation is descriptive-analytical. Additionally, the library resource study method has been used to collect research information and data. The macro goals of education in upstream documents, especially the Fundamental Transformation Document, aim to cultivate committed, creative, independent, responsible, religious, and capable humans in solving social, cultural, and scientific problems. Achieving these goals requires that teaching methods in the country's schools be redefined and aligned with modern educational approaches.
Machine summary:
In general, it can be said that modern and active teaching methods, by emphasizing participation, creativity, and deep learning, effectively respond to the educational needs of students in secondary school.
The main issue is how modern teaching methods can be effectively implemented in secondary school to strengthen meaningful and skill-based learning, while limitations such as lack of facilities, high number of students, and teacher resistance to changing methods exist.
On the other hand, modern methods such as collaborative learning, group discussion, discovery method, problem-solving, and project-based learning, by involving students in the learning process, increase their intrinsic motivation and strengthen essential skills such as creative thinking, teamwork, and decision-making.
In this regard, introducing and teaching methods such as collaborative learning, group discussion, and project-based learning can help teachers create dynamic and motivating classrooms where students, instead of being passive recipients, become active participants.
Research on modern and active teaching methods, such as collaborative learning, group discussion, discovery method, problem-solving, and project-based learning, can provide effective solutions for strengthening critical thinking skills, creativity, and teamwork.
The results of the present research have shown that active teaching methods include various types of educational experiences, including student participation in class, use of interactive materials, practical problem solving, and creating attractive learning spaces.
The use of active and modern teaching methods has been effective on students' learning, power of thought, and problem-solving ability, and will also create skill and a better sense of success and efficiency in students in social and communicative fields.
