Abstract:
The Holy Quran, through the words of Jesus Christ, states that a promise was given to the Children of Israel regarding the coming of a prophet named Ahmad (As-Saff/6). In this research, we aim to examine two phrases from the Gospel of John that can be considered instances of this Quranic expression. Jesus Christ gives news of the coming of an individual after himself named Paraclete (παράκλητος); this phrase refers to the Prophet of Islam, which can be proven by citing the Holy Bible itself. Likewise, Jesus Christ gave the glad tidings of the coming of Ahmad to the apostles and also in the story of the trial in Jerusalem. The Gospel of John has written that person as Neuma Tis Alithias (ἀληθείας τῆς Πνεῦμα). The translation of this word into Hebrew is equivalent to the heavenly name of the Prophet of Islam, Emeth (אמת), meaning Ahmad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family). The Revelation of John also prophesied about him using two names: Faithful and Ahmad.

Investigation and Explanation of the Glad Tidings and Testimony of Christ (regarding the Prophet of Islam) in the Gospel of John Ismail Hemmati 1 Abstract The Holy Quran, through the words of Jesus Christ, states that he gave the Children of Israel the promise of the coming of a prophet named Ahmad (As-Saff/6).
Keywords: Glad tidings to the Prophet of Islam, Ahmad, Paraclete, Neuma tes Alitheias, Spirit of Truth Ismail Hemmati, researcher in the field of religions, Christianity Introduction God says in the sixth verse of Surah As-Saff: And [remember] when Jesus son of Mary said: O Children of Israel!
In the reasons for attributing the person of the glad tidings and the testimony of Christ to the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), we examined several points in this article, which can be summarized as follows: The similarity between אמת (eh'-meth) and Ahmad (both phonetically and in the meaning of the word).
To find the meaning of the New Testament verses, especially the Gospel of John, which indicate the coming of an individual after Jesus (pbuh), the Hebrew equivalent of the word mentioned in the Greek language was searched for and found in the Old Testament, and it shows that this person is none other than the Prophet of Islam.
