Abstract:
There are various perspectives regarding school management methods. Some school managers believe that the roots of many school problems and solutions lie in its financial, physical, and budgetary resources; these individuals focus most of their attention on the inputs of the school system. Others state that although paying attention to the resources available in the system's inputs is of high importance, more attention should be paid to the system's process. They emphasize content, methods, how to teach, management style, and evaluation within the system process. In Total Quality Management, which is itself a product of process-oriented management, an attempt is made to incorporate strategic planning into the daily behavior of schools. In this method, which emphasizes the participation of all staff, appropriate methods, tools, and models for improving the quality of school work are provided to managers and staff. It is necessary for managers and staff, by training in these methods, to create major changes in their working methods and, simultaneously with these changes, implement appropriate planning. In this article, while emphasizing process-oriented management, ways for management to achieve this method are presented.
