Abstract:
The history of the Danesh journal (Research Quarterly of the Iran Pakistan Research Institute of Persian studies) does not go beyond the last half-century and in this short period, it has gone through many ups and downs resulting in the honour of being welcomed by researchers. In the subcontinent, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and Iran have gained a prominent position. The first issue of this journal was published in spring 1985 by the Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad. At that time, Arif Noshahi was the journal’s editor and Alireza Naghavi was the honorary advisor. 120 issues of Danesh have been published since 1985. During these 37 years, the journal has established its remarkable position among international journals due to the publication of academic and research articles, and it is during these stages that it has become world-famous. This article aims at introducing the quarterly of knowledge, showing the contribution of this quarterly in the development of one of the specialized fields of literature called Comparative Literature. This article through the descriptive method, an analysis of the articles published in this field concludes that the knowledge quarterly has had an academic impact in the areas of Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and Iran by publishing academic articles in the field of Comparative Literature.

Another effort undertaken in the field of comparative literature is the article by Sayyid Hamid Reza Alawi titled "Science and Knowledge from the Perspective of Rumi, Saadi, and Hafez and its Comparison with the Perspective of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali (AS).
