Abstract:
AbstractThe purpose of this study was to develop a structural model for identifying barriers to strategic planning in sport federations of Iran. The research method of this research is descriptive-analytical and in terms of applied field application. The statistical population of the study consisted of 200 managers and expert experts in sports federations. Sampling was done by total number and 177 questionnaires were collected. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire. The face validity and content of the questionnaire were confirmed by experts and its reliability was confirmed by using Cronbach's alpha on a 30-member sample with 82.2. For data analysis, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics of exploratory factor analysis, Friedman ranking test and structural equation modeling were performed using SPSS and Amos software version 23. The results showed that the 11 main factors hindering the implementation of strategic planning in selected sports federations of Iran Federations. Also, there are significant differences between the obstacles to implementing strategic planning in selected sports federations of Iran from the viewpoint of research samples, so that "management barriers" have the highest rank and "political and legal environment" have the lowest rank. Finally, the structural model of barriers to strategic planning implementation in Iran's sports federations has been developed and approved.
