Abstract:
Educating children and adolescents to familiarize them with religion and religious role models is considered an unavoidable necessity. This matter depends on the level of religious acceptance among the people and the governance of society. In this regard, religious literature for children and adolescents, as a tool for teaching religious concepts and introducing audiences to role models, has been the focus of cultural and social institutions active in this field. Among these institutions, children's and adolescents' publications, in order to provide religious upbringing for audiences and familiarize them with religious figures and personalities such as Jesus Christ (PBUH), have dedicated pages of their content to reflecting his image from moral, individual, social, and devotional perspectives, as well as his miraculous birth, in various formats, given the specific characteristics of the audience. Given the importance of this matter, the present research aims to examine how the image of Jesus Christ is reflected in domestic publications. The research findings indicate that the image of Jesus Christ (PBUH) in behavioral and moral aspects has the most manifestation through prose storytelling and indirectly, and regarding teachings and rulings, it has often been direct.

Familiarity with the way and method, as well as the individual and social moral characteristics of Mary (AS) in the form of narrative prose, can be seen in children's publications, especially Doost-e Kudakan Weekly, Roshd-e Noamooz, and Keyhan-e Bachcheha.
