Abstract:
The Holy Quran, the miracle of the Prophet of Islam, is a complete life program filled with abstract concepts. The author's goal in writing this research is to explain the concept of the two words heaven and hell using the volumetric schema. The corpus of this research consists of 148 verses from the Holy Quran, which specifically focus only on the description of drinks, foods, trees, and colors, and are then examined symbolically. The research method is descriptive and is also within the framework of cognitive linguistics. The achievements of this research are the clarity of the concept of the words heaven and hell. Also, by examining and comparing the symbolic descriptions, it can be concluded that all elements used in heaven are symbols of hope, life, healing, and pleasure, while the elements related to hell are, conversely, symbols of death, torment, and hardship.

As a member of this Islamic society and based on my knowledge in linguistics, the author seeks to take a step toward a better and deeper understanding of this ocean of greatness; accordingly, the author examines the symbolic descriptions of the concepts of heaven and hell in the verses of the Holy Quran and also examines these concepts within the theoretical framework of cognitive linguistics, specifically the volumetric schema.
The author's research seems new in that, in the mentioned cases, none of them have addressed the symbolic investigation of the descriptions of heaven and hell.
Its corpus consists of 148 verses from the Holy Quran, which have addressed the description of drinks, foods, trees, and colors in Heaven and Hell, and have then been examined from a symbolic perspective.
As mentioned, all the drinks of Heaven are symbols of deliciousness, healing, and purity, which cause pleasure to the inhabitants of Heaven, but in contrast, the drinks of Hell all convey the concepts of torment, pollution, darkness, and harm.
Among the colors directly mentioned in the Quranic verses related to Paradise are green and white.
