Abstract:
Introduction: The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of social information processing model on friendship quality, loneliness and social intimacy of dyslexia students was performed. Methods: Method was a quasi-experimental design with pretest, posttest. 20 students in 3rd to 5th grades were selected and were divided randomly into control and experimental groups. Tool: The participants responded to the Miller social intimacy scale (1982), Hejazi and Zohrevand Friendship Quality (1380) and Asher and colleagues Loneliness Scale (1984). The experimental group was trained with social stories for 8 sessions. Results: The results of Multivariate covariance analysis showed that training social information processing model on the friendship quality and loneliness and social intimacy in the experimental group resulted in a significant differences between the two groups (P <0.001). Conclusion: Results can confirm the effectiveness of social information processing model on friendship quality, loneliness and social intimacy in dyslexia students.

Discussion and Conclusion The aim of the present research was to investigate the effectiveness of training the social information processing model on friendship quality, feeling of loneliness, and social intimacy of dyslexic students.
As the research results showed, training the social information processing model led to an increase in friendship quality and social intimacy and a decrease in the feeling of loneliness of the subjects in the experimental group.
