Abstract:
Ecological spirituality refers to the concept of recognizing divine truth within the system of nature. The green poet, after receiving sensory perceptions from nature, proceeds to describe the sanctity of its phenomena in their poems, considering a sacred and mystical approach. Among the elements and phenomena of nature, "water" is considered one of the most widely used elements in literary compositions. The central position of this precious element is dedicated to the ecological theistic application in naturalist/ecocentric poetry. Therefore, in this article, an attempt has been made to address the category of "water" in the poems of Sohrab Sepehri and Ralph Waldo Emerson, as both poets, who are renowned as green and naturalist poets, have repeatedly paid attention to the subject of "water" in their poems. In this comparative research, while seeking help from ecocriticism, we will study Sepehri's collection of eight books and Emerson's collection of poetic notebooks, and while presenting theoretical discussions about ecological spirituality, we will show through examples from the poems of these two poets how the precious element of "water" has become a medium for creating eco-centered concepts and images in ecological mysticism. Furthermore, we will explain how Sepehri, by maintaining a mystical-philosophical perspective, and Emerson, with a mystical-historical perspective, have reached ecological spirituality through the element of "water."

Ecological Spirituality in the Collected Poems of Sohrab Sepehri and Ralph Waldo Emerson relying on the element of "water" Anis Kalantari * Nahid Mohammadi ** 1 Abstract Ecological spirituality is the concept of recognizing the divine truth within the system of nature.
Therefore, in this article, an attempt has been made to address the category of "water" in the poems of Sohrab Sepehri and Ralph Waldo Emerson, because both poets, who are famous as green and nature-oriented poets, have repeatedly paid attention to the category of "water" in their poems.
In this comparative research, while seeking help from ecocriticism, we will study the collection of eight books of Sepehri and Emerson's collection of poetic notebooks and, while stating theoretical discussions about ecological spirituality, by mentioning examples from the poems of these two poets, we will show how the valuable element of "water" has become a medium for creating eco-centered concepts and images in ecological mysticism for them.
The authors in this article have stated that "the ideal world of Sepehri and Gibran is a nature that is alive, self-subsisting, and possesses an existential unity that God has placed as the manifestation of human dreams and latent desires" (Molla-Ebrahimi, Rashidi, and San Sabli, 1391: 217).
" Therefore, in this article, we will show how "water" has been effective in directing the mystical and eco-centric thoughts of Sepehri and Emerson and causes both poets to express faith.
In Sepehri's poetry, "rain," "sea," "wave," and "river" are different forms of the element "water" which, in addition to their natural role, are also employed in the service of spiritual themes.
