Abstract:
Marriage is considered one of the most fundamental and, at the same time, most sensitive stages of human life. Based on their nature and existential essence, humans have always avoided individualism in response to their internal and external needs for dependency on others. As a cognitive phenomenon, attitudes have a significant impact on inclination, the probability of marriage, age and timing of marriage, and its stability. Given that no model has been presented so far to explain how attitudes toward temporary marriage are formed in the country, the present study was conducted with the aim of explaining and presenting a preliminary model of this process. The method of this research is qualitative, and group focus interviews were used to collect data. To analyze the information and present the final theory, the grounded theory method was used. Based on the qualitative-purposive sampling method and the criterion of theoretical saturation, fifteen students from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz participated in this study, and their attitudes toward temporary marriage were examined and analyzed; the findings obtained using the "grounded theory" method include four major categories: legal dimension, identity dimension, motivational dimension, and mistrust. The core category of this investigation is "students' attitude toward temporary marriage," which encompasses the other major categories. The resulting grounded theory is presented in the form of a paradigmatic model including five dimensions: causal conditions, intervening conditions, contextual conditions, strategies, and consequences.

Presenting a Grounded Theory of the Process of Attitude Formation towards Temporary Marriage: A Qualitative Study Ali Mohammadi1, Hakim Sahaghi2 Master of Family Counseling, Shahid Chamran University, Ahvaz, Iran.
Based on the qualitative-purposive sampling method and the criterion of theoretical saturation, fifteen students from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz participated in this study, and their attitudes towards temporary marriage were investigated and analyzed; the findings obtained using the "grounded theory" method include four major categories: legal dimension, identity dimension, motivational dimension, and mistrust.
The first objective was to study and recognize the demographic aspect of the population and social phenomenon of marriage in the entire country and the provinces of East Azerbaijan, Tehran, Khuzestan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Kurdistan, Gilan, and Lorestan in the year 1385; the second objective was to gain awareness of the relationship between the average age of marriage (dependent variable) and some indicators of modernization such as the rate of urbanization, literacy rate, women's economic activity rate, and employment rate in the industrial sector (independent variables).
Commodification: One of the participants in this research, in response to the question of whether temporary marriage can meet the emotional, psychological, and sexual needs of women, expressed that ((No, it cannot, because in Sigheh, women are treated like a commodity)).
Almost all participants in this research, in response to the question about people's motivation for temporary marriage, cited economic motivations for women.
Based on qualitative targeted sampling and theoretical saturation criterion, fifteen students from Shahid Chamran University, Ahvaz, participated in this study and their attitude toward temporary marriage was studied and analyzed; the findings by "The underlying theory" consist of four major categories: legal dimension, identity, motivation, and mistrust.
