Abstract:
Philosophy of Heidegger is concerning to the question of meaning of existence، and the starting for its response should begin from the existence of own questioner. In former Heidegger’s thought، it can be found two main virtues for Dasein. First، one person is essentially an actor or doer. Human personality and the world are not separable. Hence، Heidegger explains this fact as Being -in- the World. Second، Dasein’s personality is explained by Being- in- the- Other- People. So، it should be considered that does Heidegger’s philosophy separates meaningfulness life from meaningless one or not? And that how meaningfulness life can be explained? Reviewing of former Heidegger shows that he separates meaningfulness life from meaningless one، and also makes meaning relation between cultural heritage and meaningfulness of life. Therefore، for Heidegger hegemony of others on Dasein and following public style is not authentic. Thinking of death guides Dasein to authentic life، and that meaningfulness life is the same as authentic life. The context of meaningfulness life، also، is discovered through cooperation of cultural heritage and human facticity on him/her.
Machine summary:
In each period, based on the change in his view regarding the position of human beings in being, Heidegger's thought about the meaning of life can be examined.
Early Heidegger's philosophy is existential and dominated by discussions of human existence, and through this, we arrive at an understanding of the meaning of being, whereas his later thought is ontological, and human existence is understood in relation to being (Macquarrie, 1376: 43-44).
Heidegger's answer to the question of what human or Dasein means provides a basis for examining his view on the meaning of life.
A view that believes the human possesses a soul that is considered their personality and continues its life in another world after leaving the body.
By proposing these characteristics—that the human or Dasein is not an object, has personality, and makes choices—Heidegger draws attention to the specific way the human is in this world.
Considering private property, Heidegger draws attention to the impact of the existence of others in the world for the human being.
It was stated that one of the characteristics of Dasein is that its existence is an issue for itself, and it is fundamentally faced with the choice of how to live the life it undertakes.
Generally, attention is paid to the human individual insofar as they are born and live in specific social conditions and at a specific time, but Heidegger, through existential analysis, points out that the world of Dasein is a shared world.
