Abstract:
To develop and organize the research flow in the field of 'Women and Family' from the current status toward the ideal status, it is necessary to quantitatively examine and evaluate the research problems and deficiencies in this area. Therefore, the executors of the present research, while comprehensively reviewing 133 scientific-research journals approved by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology in the humanities group (from 2000 to 2011), undertook the creation of a database including 1990 articles on the subject of women and family. This research was conducted using the content analysis method and examining all variables present in the text of the articles, including the orientation and thematic trend of the articles, the growth trend of articles based on the year of publication, their frequency in journals, the number of authors and their gender and education level, the theoretical foundations of the articles, and keywords.
Machine summary:
This research was conducted using the content analysis method and by examining all variables present in the text of the articles, including the tendency and thematic trend of the articles, the growth trend of articles based on the year of publication, their frequency in journals, the number of authors and their gender and educational level, the theoretical foundations of the articles, and keywords.
In this research, given the necessity of examining and quantitatively evaluating research problems and deficiencies, all existing variables in the text, including the tendency and thematic trend of the articles, the growth trend of articles based on the year of publication, their frequency in journals, the number of authors and their gender and level of education, the theoretical foundations of the articles, and the keywords, were examined comprehensively.
Furthermore, given the objectives of the project in the field of descriptive identification of all statistical population indicators, including prioritization and thematic tendency of articles based on general subject groups, gender and education level of authors, year of publication, theoretical foundations employed in the articles, and keywords, the use of the quantitative content analysis method was necessary in this project.
