Abstract:
Among the word formation processes in Gilaki is the process of reduplication, in which all or part of a word is repeated to form a new word that either emphasizes the base meaning or indicates its intensity. Since the Gilaki dialect is among the dialects at risk of extinction, studying its morphological processes is of double importance; because the first domain of grammar that undergoes cultural changes is vocabulary. The present research was conducted with the aim of identifying the types of reduplication processes and providing a classification of its types, and the researcher endeavors to find an answer to the question of whether complete and incomplete types of reduplication processes exist in the Gilaki dialect or not. The research data corpus was collected using field methods (interviews with native speakers) and documentary methods (dictionaries) and was examined using a descriptive-analytical method. The results of the research indicate the existence of both complete and incomplete types of reduplication processes in the Gilaki dialect.
Machine summary:
The aforementioned linguists all believe that in the morphology of the language Persian, the reduplication process plays an active and very beautiful role in the formation of various types of compound words (noun, adjective, adverb, etc.
He refers to this process as "duality" and believes that "in the structure of etba, a dual affix in the form of a prefix, infix, or suffix is added to the base word, with or without the help of the connective particle /o/, generalizing the concept and meaning of the word or emphasizing it.
From the infinitive "vamjastan" or "vamchastan" meaning to spy, to probe (Marashi, 1363: 446) 4-2 Phonological analysis of the reduplication process In this section, the syllabic structure of the reduplicated words in the Gilaki dialect will be examined.
Given the available data, a statistical analysis of the syllabic structure of the base words that participated in the types of reduplication in the Gilaki dialect is presented in Table 4-1.
Overall, the study of the syllabic structure of the reduplicated words collected in this research shows that the words participating in the types of reduplication processes in the Gilaki dialect may be monosyllabic, disyllabic, trisyllabic, and in one case, quadrisyllabic, each of which includes a different structure.
The study of the syllable structure of the reduplicated words collected in this research also shows that the words participating in various types of the reduplication process in the Gilaki dialect may be monosyllabic, disyllabic, trisyllabic, syllabic and in one case quadrisyllabic, which each encompass different structures.
