Abstract:
This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of organizational anomie in the relationship between the attitudes of university faculty members toward themselves, colleagues, managers, and students with organizational citizenship behaviors. The statistical population of the research consisted of all faculty members of universities in the city of Isfahan, from whom 387 individuals (160 women and 227 men) were selected using simple random sampling. The research tools included the faculty attitude scale, the organizational anomie scale, and civic behaviors. Data obtained from the research questionnaires were analyzed using moderated hierarchical regression analysis. The results indicated that organizational anomie moderates the relationship between attitudes toward colleagues, attitudes toward one's job, attitudes toward students, and attitudes toward oneself with organizational citizenship behaviors directed toward the organization. Additionally, organizational anomie moderates the relationship between attitudes toward colleagues, attitudes toward managers as persons, attitudes toward the supervisor's position, attitudes toward one's job, and attitudes toward oneself with organizational citizenship behaviors directed toward colleagues, and the relationship between attitudes toward managers as persons and attitudes toward one's job with organizational citizenship behaviors directed toward students.
