Abstract:
The historical-literary book of Taj-al-Ma’aser is the oldest document on the history of the Qourians. It was written in 602 (A.H.) by Hasan Nezami Neishabouri، who lived at the time of the Qourians of India and، as one of their officials. In addition to its historical value، the book is of great literary importance. Using poetic figures، and frequent references to Arabic and Persian poems are among its features. According to Malek-al-sho’ara-ye Bahar، none of the ancient works has so many references to poems and poetry as Taj-al-Ma’aser has. Therefore، it can help to reconstruction of the verses lost in divans’ of famous poets. The authors here in the present article have made comparisons between the verses from the well-known poets recorded in Taj-al-Ma’aser and in their edited divans. No doubt that such a comparison is so helpful for the exploration and correction of the poems.
Machine summary:
None of the few mentioned biographical books, in their brief references to Hasan Nizami, have mentioned his birth and death years, and our knowledge in this regard is limited only to some of his own references within the text of his work, which are as follows: The author of Taj al-Ma'athir himself stated that he began writing the book in the year 602 AH (Base manuscript, folio 39).
Discovery of Lost Verses from the Divans of Great Poets When we find the omitted verses in the corrected manuscripts within Taj al-Ma'athir, the question arises in the mind: to what extent can the authenticity of attributing poems to the owners of the qasidas be trusted?
If his justice were not there, where would you have left the era's gold and jewels upon the scarf of sword and pen?» Conclusion Taj al-Ma'athir, in addition to being a historical book, due to the excess and persistence of its author in using poetic evidence, is considered a kind of compendium of Arabic poems and the poems of prominent poets of the Khorasani style and the Azerbaijan school.
