Abstract:
In this essay, after analyzing the story of Alexander and the writings of the Safavid era and considering the clues, we conclude that the most probable historical figure for Manouchehr Khan Hakim—the author of the Naqqali Iskandarnama—is Manouchehr bin Qara Chaqay Khan, a virtuous Safavid Emir in the eleventh century AH, who is the author or patron of the Naqqali Iskandarnama, just as the author of Majalis al-Ushshaq is Kamal al-Din Hosseini Gazargahi, but he is famous under the name Sultan Hussain Bayqara.

Abstract In this essay, after analyzing the story of Alexander and the Safavid era writing, and considering the clues, we conclude that the most probable historical figure for Manuchahr Khan Hakim — the author of the Naqqali Iskandarnama — is none other than Manuchahr bin Qara-Chaghay Khan, a virtuous Safavid emir in the eleventh century AH, who is the author or patron of the Naqqali Iskandarnama, just as the author of Majalis al-Ushshaq is Kamal al-Din Husayni Gazargahi, though he is famous under the name Sultan Husayn Bayqara.
Farrukhi Sistani sang more than a thousand years ago: The tale of Alexander has become worn and old Bring new words, for novelty has its own sweetness But "Nasim-e Ayar" was brought so that the Iskandar Name could be renewed, and the new Iskandarnama is the same Naqqali written Iskandarnama, which in some respects resembles modern stories.
Of course, giving wise advice to kings was approved and recommended, as in all Iskandarnamas (the ancient version, according to the poetic narration of the Naqqali version), words of advice from Plato to Alexander are included, and even in the book Rawdat al-Anwar al-Abbasi, authored by the researcher Sabzevari (11th century AH), which is one of the important political books of the Safavid era, Plato's will to Alexander is recorded.
In al-Dhari'a and some other books, treatises have been attributed to Manuchahr bin Qarachqay Khan which, in my opinion, all have an ancient aspect like this Naqqali Iskandarnama, rather than being written by him himself.
