Abstract:
The article reviews works published in Iran that are related to periodicals and especially the book Manual of Periodicals Cataloging based on IRANMARK. The manual focuses on the periodical cataloging rules used by the National Library of Iran and explains how to record the pertinent bibliographic data in IRANMARK. The book, focusing solely on periodical cataloging, contains specialized references and examples that will prove useful. However, it may be criticized because of its unbalanced structure, the lack of proper footnotes, and the lack of sufficient examples.
