Abstract:
Two types of symbol can be seen in Aminpour’s poetry: common symbols used in the Persian literature in general and the symbols the poet himself made and introduced to the Persian poetry. Though innovative، we should remember that it is the nature، and his religious beliefs that feed them. Studying the symbols in Aminpour’s works we concluded the following: 1. Source of most symbols is religion. 2. The poem collection of “Breathing of the Morning” bears more symbols. 3. The words tulip; yellow، red، green، unripe، and … are of symbolic meanings in his poems.
Machine summary:
In Aminpour's poetry, Amneh and Amin in the book "Morning Breath" and in the poem "Mission in Birth" are symbols for the existence of the Final Prophet.
Kaaba (Aminpour, Sudden Mirrors, 1386: 110), Karbala (The Grammar of Love, 1387: 21 and Noon of the Tenth Day, 1387: 7), Mosque (Morning Breath, 1364: 45 and 84), Kuway Mina (ibid: 121), and Haram (as Parastoo says, 1386: 39) are among the holy places mentioned in Aminpour's compositions.
Flight here is a symbol of martyrdom and red death: We are wingless birds, from another flock The flight of our wings is pulsing in blood (Aminpour, Sudden Mirrors, 1386: 152).
Flight here is a symbol of movement, motion, transcendence, and evolution, which the poet requests from God: Come, teach us wings and feathers to fly as much as a cage!
In the poems "Prayer" and "Song" in the collection "Sudden Mirrors," the dove is just a dove, without symbolic meaning, and the poet wishes that no roof would be without a dove.
In Aminpour's poetry too, following poets like Aref, the tulip is a symbol of the martyr.
