چکیده:
زمینه و اهداف: خودکارآمدی تحصیلی ازجمله عوامل پیشبین در پیشرفت تحصیلی دانشجویان است که متأثر از عوامل گوناگونی است. پژوهش حاضر باهدف بررسی نقش ویژگیهای شخصیت تاریک (ماکیاولی، خودشیفتگی و جامعهستیزی) بهمنظور پیشبینی باورهای خودکارآمدی تحصیلی در دانشجویان انجام شد.
روش بررسی:در این مطالعه همبستگی، ۲۳۰ نفر از دانشجویان ساکن خوابگاههای دانشگاه اصفهان به شیوه خوشهای انتخاب شدند (سال تحصیلی ۹۶-۱۳۹۵). بهمنظور جمعآوری دادهها پرسشنامه خودکارآمدی تحصیلی دانشجویان اون و فرامن و مقیاس شخصیت تاریک جانسون و وبستر اجرا شد. بهمنظور محاسبه دادهها از نرمافزار Spss-۱۸ استفاده شد.
یافتهها: نتایج دلالت بر این داشتند که صفات شخصیت جامعهستیزی (۰/۳۴۱-=r ) و ماکیاولی (۰/۳۶۴- =r) با خودکارآمدی تحصیلی در دانشجویان رابطه معنادار و منفی داشتند (۰/۱>P). نتایج دیگر نشان داد که بین صفت شخصیت خودشیفتگی و خودکارآمدی تحصیلی ارتباط معناداری وجود ندارد. نتایج تحلیل رگرسیون نشان داد که بهصورت منفی ۰/۱۵ از تغییرات خودکارآمدی تحصیلی در دانشجویان را میتوان بر اساس صفات شخصیت تاریک ماکیاولی و جامعهستیزی تبیین نمود.
نتیجهگیری: با توجه به ارتباط معکوسی که بین خودکارآمدی تحصیلی و صفات شخصیت تاریک (جامعهستیزی و ماکیاولی) مشاهدهشده است میتوان نتیجه گرفت که این صفات میتوانند تأثیر مخربی بر خودکارآمدی تحصیلی دانشجویان و درنهایت پیشرفت آنها داشته باشند. همچنین نتایج این پژوهش از نقش متغیر روانشناختی صفات شخصیت تاریک در پیشبینی باورهای خودکارآمدی تحصیلی در دانشجویان حمایت میکند.
Background and Aims: Academic self-efficacy, which is one of the factors that predicts academic achievement of students, affected by a variety of factors. This study aimed to investigate the role of dark personality feautures (i.e., Machiavellianism, narcissism, and psychopathy), in order to predict students’ academic self- efficacy beliefs.
Methods: In this correlational study, 230 students in dormitories of Isfahan University were selected through cluster sampling method (2016-17 accademic year). Owen and Froman students’ academic self-efficacy questionnaire and Johnson and Webster dark personality scale were used and administered for data collectionSpss-18 software was used to calculate the data.
Results: Results showed that there was a significant and negative relationship between the psychopathy (r=-0.341) and Machiavellianism (r=-0.364) with students’ academic self-efficacy (P
Conclusions: Due to the inverse relationship between academic self-efficacy and dark personality features (Machiavellianism and psychopathy), it can be concluded that these traits may have devasting effect on the students' academic self-efficacy, and consequently, their progress. The results of this study also support the role of psychological variable of the dark personality in predicting academic self-efficacy beliefs among students.
