Kelileh, Demneh, and Rumi's spiritual Masnavi have used allegory to express moral, educational, and other teachings. One of the educational teachings of these two books is how to solve problems in a creative way. Problem solving is the mental effort to find a suitable way to solve a problem. John Dewey is one of those who has come up with a logical way to solve the problem. His method has five principles as follows: 1. Problem identification, 2. Problem definition and representation, 3. Finding the right way, 4. Acting on the right solutions and predicting the results, 5. Looking back and evaluating the results of activities. In this research, an attempt has been made to study the anecdote of "Owl and Crow" from the book of Kelileh and Demneh and the anecdote of "Lion and Nakhjiran" from the book of Rumi's spiritual Masnavi by descriptive-analytical method, relying on Dewey's problem-solving method. The main question in this regard is what is the method of expression, features and narrative stages of the problem-solving method in these two anecdotes? The result is that in both books, an attempt has been made to express the problem-solving method with the method of animal allegory. The characters of the two stories are creative and follow the steps of solving Dewey's problem and have been able to eliminate the enemies. Kelileh and Demneh's view of victory is materialistic, while Rumi has a mystical interpretation of victory.
