Background & Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of neurofeedback training on the accuracy and concentration of professional chess players. Methodology: The present study was a semi-experimental study with pretest-posttest design and control group. The statistical population included all girls and boys chess athletics of tabriz city in 1395 to number of 120 people. From this community, a sample of 36 people is selected through available sampling method and were randomly assigned to three groups of 12 people (test, dummy, and control). Trial intervention were performed in the form of increased alpha protocol during 12 sessions of 15 minutes three sessions each week, meanwhile the research data were collected in two stages, pre and post test using stroop standard task (accuracy and focus). Data analysis was performed using MANCOVA in a spss program. Results: Data analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the mean of the experimental, dummy and control groups in the post-test of the reaction time subscales (f=17/437, p=0.0001) and the error rate (f= 29/863, p=0.0001). Conclusion: According to the results participants in the test group have a lower response time and the error rate (better performance) than fake and control group participants.
