چکیده:
سیاحان اروپایی که در عصر صفویه به ایران میآمدند، با ثبت خاطرات و مشاهدات خویش و نگاشتن سفرنامه، در شناساندن و نقل و انتقال فرهنگ، علوم، هنر، منش، رفتار، آداب و عادات، سبک زندگی و مواریث علمی و تمدنی ایرانیان در جوامع اروپایی نقش مهمی داشتند و زمینه نوعی گفتمان ایرانشناسی را در غرب پدید آوردند. این سیاحان با سفر و اقامت در ایران، با مشاهده، بررسی و تحقیق، تماس و گفتگو با مردم و افراد آگاه و دستیابی به منابع مکتوب تاریخ ایران، آگاهیهای سودمندی درباره ایران عصر صفویه به هموطنان خویش عرضه کردهاند و آنان را با نام، اعتبار و عظمت ایران آشنا ساختند. هدف از این پژوهش، بررسی نسبت سیاحان اروپایی با مقوله ایرانشناسی براساس اطلاعات سفرنامهای و به روش توصیفی- تحلیلی است و این پرسش را مطرح کرده است که سیاحان اروپایی عصر صفویه چه نقشی در گسترش ایرانشناسی داشتهاند؟ یافتههای پژوهش بیانگر آن است که ابعاد گوناگونی از وجوه تمدنی ایران در سفرنامههای این سیاحان بازتاب یافته و آن را به اروپا شناساندهاند. سیاحان از این منظر نقش مهمی در مقوله ایرانشناسی در غرب و گسترش آن ایفا کردهاند. گزارشهای آنان در تشویق اروپائیان برای دیدار از ایران و نگارش سفرنامه مؤثر بوده که خود گام مهمی در رشد تمایلات ایرانشناسی در میان اروپائیان بهشمار میرود
The European tourists who came to Iran during the Safavid era, by recording their memories and observations and writing travelogues, introduced and transmitted the culture, science, art, character, behavior, manners and habits, lifestyle and scientific and civilizational heritage of Iranians. They played an important role in European societies and created a kind of Iranological discourse in the West. By traveling and staying in Iran, by observing, investigating and researching, contacting and talking to people and knowledgeable people, and accessing written sources of Iranian history, these tourists have provided useful information about Safavid Iran to their countrymen and made them familiar with the name, prestige and greatness of Iran. The purpose of this research is to investigate the ratio of European tourists with the category of Iranology based on travelogue information and in a descriptive-analytical method, and it raises the question of what role European tourists of the Safavid era played in the development of Iranology? The findings of the research show that various aspects of Iran's civilization were reflected in the travelogues of these tourists and introduced to Europe. From this point of view, tourists have played an important role in the category of Iranian Studies in the West and its expansion. Their reports have been effective in encouraging Europeans to visit Iran and write travelogues, which is an important step in the growth of Iranian studies among Europeans.
