What it means to teach wisdom, its position in Islamic education, how it differs from preaching and argumentation, its types, the methods proposed for its presentation, its conditions for effectiveness, the factors and causes for its acquisition or bestowal, what effects may result from teaching wisdom, what the obstacles to its effectiveness are, and what damages it may face, are questions that are examined in this article using the method of documentary analysis and interpretation in the Holy Quran. The results obtained from this research are that wisdom means heart-felt certainty in knowledge or right and correct action based on rational foundations, which has three types: theoretical, practical, and real; and it has effects such as guidance, discernment, infallibility, and gratitude; and through its acquisition, self-purification, faith, sincerity, silence, reflection, and spending the best of things, the best results are achieved for humans.
