God Almighty sent prophets to guide humanity, all of whom were chosen ones of their time and indeed were infallible. They dedicated their entire lives, souls, and wealth to guiding and instructing people, striving to the best of their ability to save humanity from misguidance, while asking for no reward from the people. Hazrat Saleh is a great prophet who was sent with a mission among the people of Thamud and endured many hardships. In this article, using Quranic verses, interpretations, and the hadiths of the Ahl al-Bayt, we examine the story of Prophet Saleh, his characteristics and those of his people, the characteristics of the miracle of the she-camel, and the punishment of the people of Thamud.
