چکیده:
Background: Moral growth is one of the factors shaping staff attitudes and is related to their ethical behavior, professional decision-making, and organizational effectiveness, and is considered an important research field. The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of responsibility and self-efficacy on the moral growth of operating room personnel in Kerman city hospitals. Method: The present research is descriptive of the correlational type and uses regression tests. The statistical population of the research included all operating room staff of hospitals in Kerman city, from whom 102 people were included in the study based on convenience sampling (Morgan table). To collect data, the Employee Responsibility Questionnaire by Glenn and Nelson (1998), the Moral Growth Questionnaire by Rest et al. (1973), and the Job Self-Efficacy Questionnaire by Riggio et al. (1994) were used. Findings: Responsibility can predict the moral growth of employees. Also, there is a positive and significant relationship between responsibility and moral growth. Conclusion: Responsibility and self-efficacy can play an important role in improving and deepening ethical beliefs and emphasizing the ethics of employees.
