چکیده:
One of the most important educational goals of childhood is the development of social skills, and the extent to which children possess these skills affects their individual and social health as well as their academic success. The aim of this research was to investigate and qualitatively analyze the content of social skills in the mirror of third-grade elementary textbooks. The research method used is descriptive content analysis, and the research population consists of third-grade elementary textbooks for the 1401-1402 academic year. The tool used in this research includes a researcher-made checklist for content analysis based on selected components. The analysis method in this research is interpretive and inductive. The research findings showed that the books 'Gifts of Heaven', 'Experimental Sciences', 'Persian', 'Quranic Education', and 'Social Studies' had the highest attention to social skill components, respectively, emphasizing dialogue and friendship skills, while in the mathematics section, we witnessed the least attention to social skills.

Dehghani (1388) conducted a study titled "Content Analysis of Primary School Social Education Textbooks Based on Social Skills from the Perspective of Teachers.
Findings The components and indicators of social skills necessary for primary school students, which have been collected and summarized from research and literature, are as follows: A) Communication skills: including short discourses; greetings; saying please or thank you; learning and using names, choosing appropriate topics for conversation and following them; using appropriate facial expressions; using appropriate vocal tone; avoiding inappropriate behavior and active listening B) Conflict resolution methods: saying "no", ways of behaving with aggressive individuals, reacting appropriately to mockery, apologizing, seeking help, problem-solving skills, dealing with criticisms; negotiating; persuading; respecting individual differences C) Friendship skills: making friends, playing, appropriate and timely joking and responding to jokes, taking turns; having a clean and neat appearance; paying attention to social norms and etiquette in daily life, helping peers In this section, third-grade primary textbooks are analyzed and coded in order of lessons, images, and activities, and the obtained data are analyzed interpretively.
