چکیده:
This article examines problem-solving skills. Scientific findings indicate that mental health is one of the most important needs of modern humans, and to fulfill it, an individual must know themselves precisely, be able to understand others and establish effective relationships with them, identify their own negative emotions and daily stresses and bring them under control, solve their problems effectively and make appropriate decisions, and furthermore, not think stereotypically and not accept information without processing. A prerequisite for fulfilling the above basic needs is mastery of life skills. Some of these skills include: self-awareness skills, communication skills, decision-making and problem-solving skills, coping with negative emotions skills, stress coping skills, creative thinking skills, and critical thinking skills. Also, to say that someone is skilled in a task, two factors—time and error—must also be considered. Thus, a skilled driver is someone who spends the minimum time to reach the destination and also has the fewest errors while driving. It is obvious that for an individual to achieve skill in any field, they need both knowledge of how to perform it and to convert that knowledge into behavior and action through continuous practice. Knowledge of performing a task can be acquired through various ways.

Scientific findings prove that mental health is among the most important needs of modern humans, and to ensure it, an individual must know themselves precisely, be able to understand others and establish effective relationships with them, identify their own negative emotions and daily stresses and bring them under control, solve their problems effectively and make appropriate decisions, and furthermore, not think stereotypically and not accept information without processing.
In contrast to this group, there are other individuals who, when solving diverse problems and facing situations requiring decision-making, not only do not fall into chaos but also reach a level of self-awareness that allows them to improve their weaknesses.
Therefore, opinions and research regarding social problem solving deal with various types of problems, including personal problems (such as money, property), intra-individual problems (cognitive, emotional, behavioral, health), and social problems (such as public services and crime) (Sharafat and Karimi, 1398).
An effective solution is one that enhances the goal of problem solving (such as successfully changing or the individual's emotional reactions to it, so that it is no longer considered a problem, while simultaneously increasing positive consequences and decreasing negative consequences).
Many researchers have defined this strategy in different ways, which include several concepts of problem solving from various perspectives: Rahimi (1396) considers problem solving to be a response that an individual gives to difficult and important situations that require critical thinking.
