To this end, theoretical foundations and research literature were reviewed, and the theoretical framework and conceptual model of the research were formed. To conduct the research, 196 employees of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and its affiliated organizations in Tehran were selected using simple random sampling. To collect data, a questionnaire for transformational leadership and psychological empowerment was designed by the researcher. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaires was estimated at 0.92 and 0.86, respectively. Data analysis was performed at two levels, descriptive and inferential statistics, through SPSS and LISREL software. Findings: The results of the data analysis showed that the model fits the data of this research, and the direct impact of idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration on the psychological empowerment of employees was confirmed. The variable of individualized consideration has the greatest direct effect on the psychological empowerment of employees compared to other variables examined in the model. Conclusion: Utilizing the results obtained from this research and strengthening the variables of idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and especially individualized consideration, can be useful in promoting the psychological empowerment of employees.
