METHOD

This study was a descriptive survey and practical. The‌ research‌ population consisted of the 250 physical education teachers who are participated in 26th specialized scientific competitions‌ of‌ the‌ country. According to Morgan table 148 subjects were selected as a sample, after‌ distributing‌ the‌ questionnaire among teachers, 105 questionnaires were returned. Data collection included demographic, innovative and creativity‌ questionnaire‌ of‌ Martin Patchen. Statistical analysis consists of the descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean and standard‌ deviation‌), inferential statistics (Pearson's correlation coefficient) and Ver.19 IBM of SPSS software at‌ p<‌;0.05‌ was used.

RESULTS

The results showed that the innovation average score of PE teacher‌ of‌ 31 is 19.71 points which represent the acceptable innovation. The negative relationship‌ was‌ observed‌ between job experience and innovation in PE teachers.

CONCLUSIONS

According‌ to‌ the findings of the research physical education teachers are acceptable Initiative. Also‌, there‌ was‌ significant negative relationship observed between job experience and the creativity and innovation of physical education‌ teachers‌. It‌ means that by increasing the rate of work experience, job-related innovation‌ and‌ creativity will be reduced. These results are consistent with the results of Alizadeh and et al‌ research‌. Although our results are contrasted with the results of Ghafouri and et‌ al‌ (1387) research but it is a complement. His‌ research‌ details‌ about the creativity revealed that the Creativity‌ of‌ Physical Education teachers with an average of

118/69 is moderate to low‌. While‌ the majority of the population‌ in‌ his research‌ were‌ in‌ the range of middle- age (52‌ per‌ cent over 15 years of job experience)(1), but in this study, physical‌ education‌ teachers are acceptable Initiative and more‌ than half of the‌ sample‌ were below 35 years of‌ age‌ and they had under 10 years of job experience. Lehman believes that the‌ age‌ of 29 to 39 years‌ is‌ golden‌ decade (first order‌) to‌ be creative (4). In this‌ study‌ about half of the teachers were in this age group. The reason for this‌ association‌ may be known, low experienced teachers‌ more‌ familiar with‌ the‌ new‌ methods of training (education‌). Because many teachers have taken their
