Abstract:
In the 6th century, Qazi Hamid al-Din Balkhi wrote his book of authorities in imitation of the authorities of Hamedani. Hamidi was strongly influenced by Hamedani in writing his work, to the extent that his Sekbajihi Maqamahi was completely written in imitation of Hamadani's Maqamahi Muzairihi. so that some have considered it as an exact translation of this maqamah. In this research, the rhetoric in these two maqamahs has been investigated and compared to find out the extent of this imitation and influence. For this purpose, the maqamahs were examined and compared from two parts of the novel and the statement, and in the end it was determined that although the embellishment of the speech and the use of verbal expressions and the charging of words with literary techniques and crafts are distinct characteristics of the maqamahs, Hamadani's maqamah works because he was the initiator in this Literary type, the use of these artistic tricks is simpler and more natural than Hamidi's, with less difficulty and complexity, and less frequency. However, Hamidi uses saj's shorter and usually at the end of sentences, which makes his prose close to the border of poetry. Hamidi also uses different types of similes such as eloquent, singular, plural, meloof, tafzil, etc. in a more diverse, more beautiful and artistic way and with much more frequency than Hamadani's maqam. Although he does not stick to this method always and everywhere, and in some cases, Hamedani uses these techniques more beautifully and artistically, or at least at the same level as Hamidi, but on the whole, it can be said that Hamidi's maqam is more poetic and artistic and at the same time more difficult than Hamidi's. A position is harmful to Hamdani.
