Abstract:

Oriental scholars try to use these methods in the analysis of Mahdavi teachings, but in theological studies, and especially the attitude towards the religious teachings of others, it is necessary to observe their accepted methods and principles. In other words, a researcher is obliged to observe minimums in researching the teachings of others. This article tries to answer the questions of what is the method of Islamic studies in the West through integrated methods and descriptive-analytical data processing? And what is the harm in the theories presented in some teachings of Mahdism by Orientalists? Methodological methods in Western Islamic studies, it is easy to critique the views of Orientalists and determine what are the main problems in their analysis of the teachings of the Imams? The result of the discussion is that Orientalists generally use the method of historiography and their research suffers from disadvantages such as: "generalization of an event", "disregard for the validity of texts", "learning from the books of others" "Lack of fluency in Arabic", "confusion between Islam and the Muslim community
