Abstract:
Kasf al-Muhjoub is the first book written in Persian in Sufism and citing verses of the Qur'an is one of the stylistic features of this ancient text. In this research, the quality interpretation of Quranic verses used in the introduction and the first six chapters of this book which the author deals with the fundamental issues of Sufism are investigated and analyzed. The results show that In this part of the book, In reviewing and explaining 17 relatively general and different issues, Hejuri has cited 55 verses of the Qur'an whose interpretation of 27 verses was correct, had personal impressions of 26 verses, and had a clear error in the interpretation of 2 verses. Accordingly, the interpretation of more than half of the verses cited by Hujviri is a person whose proof of the author's claim and desired interpretation of some concepts of Sufism is the main cause of his personal and incorrect interpretations of these verses. Sometimes, with correct perceptions, specific details are seen and in personal perceptions, a kind of tolerance is realized. Imitation of predecessors, limited knowledge and purposeful use of verses and hadiths, specific motivation in proving his claim and desired, and akind of self-confidence derived from the author's familiarity with mysticism and Sufism can be considered as the main causes of these incorrect interpretations.
