A review of existing sources shows that current studies and research have mostly been written in the field of foreign policy and international relations, with an emphasis on the aspect of high politics; and regarding Israel's challenges, including ethnic, religious, and linguistic divides, as well as Israel's identity challenges, few books and studies have been written, and the void for fundamental research on the subject of this regime's actions in the arena of state-nation building is evident.
In the following research, first, the key concepts of state-nation building are explained, and subsequently, while studying the state-nation building process in Israel and with a look at the demographic context and the identity of Palestinian society and Zionist Jews (Israeli citizens), we examine the challenges of this regime in completing the state-nation building process.
