Abstract:
The present article is a modest attempt to prove the correct reading and meaning of Wisdom (249) of Nahj al-Balagha, for which two readings have been reported. The first reading is (al-Imamah nizaman lil-ummah) and the other reading is (al-Amanah nizaman lil-ummah). By referring to various commentaries of Nahj al-Balagha, with the support of narrations, assistance from other 'al-Amanat' passages in Nahj al-Balagha, and the support of the context of the wisdom, the first reading was proven in this article.
