Abstract:
Since the second half of the twentieth century, the countries have attempted to cooperate and to closing their positions to each other more than before in order to maintain national interests at most. In this regard, in some of the world regions, regional convergence was intensified which led to set up secure societies such as European Union and Persian Gulf Cooperation Council. However, the high level of cooperation with each other among world regions is cooperation between these two regional unions which both two organizations have taken steps in this direction. Some of the cooperation contexts between these two actors have had influence upon the Islamic Republic of Iran which has specific interests in the Middle East region. The article seeks to explain the extent these in fluencies.
